There are many types of plywood core. The plywood core is considered the most important part of the plywood. Together with glue, plywood core determines the strength and durability of the plywood. Any good ply should have a decent core. Combination Core Plywood can be used when the project calls for consistent flatness and good screw – hold abilitye

Full Falcata Plywood

Full falcata for plywood core means that the core of the plywood uses falcata wood as its raw material, without being mixed with other types of wood. Falcata plywood is a lightweight plywood that is ideal for use in applications where weight reduction is a priority. This plywood is made using wood from Albasia trees in Indonesia, Falcata plywood is generally 35% lighter than standard hardwood plywood. All layers are constructed from falcata ( Albizia falcataria ) veneer both for long – core and short – core.

Indicates that all core layers are made of falcata wood ( not a mixture ). A type of light wood from the Paraserianthes falcataria tree. The Characteristics is light, easy to cut, bright in color, fast growing. Widely used in the plywood, furniture, and light building materials industries.

Advantages of full falcata core is Light, suitable for needs such as portable furniture, hanging shelves, and interior decoration. Cheaper than hardwood and easy to process ( cut, nail, screw ).

Combi Plywood

Combi is short for combination. Combi core is usually a mixed of hardwood veneer and Falcata veneer.  Plywood with combination of wood species comes with different possibilities which could enrich our current market. They are known as high strength, affordable, and slightly heavier than full of falcata. Core – layers are constructed from falcata ( Albizia falcataria ) veneer as the short – core while the long – core is made from Jabon ( Neolamarckia cadamba )

Application examples, Plywood for furniture, shelves, wall panels, or light construction. Suitable for export products that demand quality, but also material efficiency.

Example of a brief comparison, Full Falcata is Light, economical, less strong. Full Hardwood is Strong, heavy, expensive. Combi Core is Balanced, strong enough & economical.

Combi core in plywood is a smart solution to get the structural strength of hardwood and the cost and weight efficiency of light wood. Ideal for products with medium to high performance needs, but still considering efficiency.
